LGE Refund Policy

LGE Refund Policy Statement

London Global Education (LGE) is committed to providing a fair and transparent refund policy for our programmes. LGE refund policy reflects the various circumstances in which students may find themselves. We do understand that circumstances may arise which require students to withdraw from their studies. We make it clear that by paying the deposit and tuition fee, a student agrees to all of the terms of this policy. Students are advised to read this policy very carefully which serves as notice of LGE`s Refunds Policy.

Terms and Conditions

This policy outlines the terms, conditions and procedures for obtaining a refund of tuition fees.

1. General Principles

Refunds will be considered based on the date of official withdrawal from the programme.

The date of official withdrawal is the date on which LGE receives written notification from the student.

All refunds will be calculated based on the programme's published fee schedule.

Non-refundable fees, namely application fees or administrative charges, may apply.

Refunds will be made to the original payment method, wherever possible.

2. Refund Schedule

If a student does cancel prior to the start of the first Semester, 100% of tuition fees will be refunded. However as the course progresses and the student withdraws a percentage will be returned.

Please note the tuition fee deposit will not be refunded.

A breakdown of the percentage refund returned is given:-

Timing:

Refund Percentage

Before start of Semester 100%

Withdraw during 1st week 90%

Withdraw during 2nd week 75%

Withdraw during 3rd week 50%

Withdraw during 4th week 25%

Withdraw after 4th week 0%

3. Non-Refundable Fees

The following fees are deemed as non-refundable:-

- Application fees

- Registration fees

- Administration fees

4. Special Circumstances

LGE recognises there maybe special circumstances which needs to be considered which prevents a student studying a programme.

Course Cancelled

If LGE cancels the programme for which the applicant has accepted an offer, then all fees paid including the tuition fee deposit will be refunded.

Student fails to meet conditions of the offer

If the student has applied for one of our taught programmes / courses, and has paid the tuition fee deposit but does not meet the conditions of the offer, the deposit and tuition fee will be fully refunded.

Medical Reasons

Refunds may be considered in cases of serious illness or medical emergencies.

Appropriate documentation (e.g., a doctor's note) will be required.

Visa Rejection

A full or partial refund may be granted if a student's visa application is rejected.

An official visa rejection letter will be required to support the applicants request for a refund.

Deferral to later session

If the student has not yet arrived and notifies LGE that they wish to defer, the tuition fee deposit may be carried forward for one year. Should the student choose to defer for a second year the tuition fee deposit will be forfeited and treated as a withdrawal. The student will then need to apply again for the later programme and pay a new tuition fee deposit at the new rate for the course and will be liable for the full fees for that new programme.

Disciplinary Action

If a student has breached a LGE Code of Conduct whether Academic or General we have the right to deduct a 25% financial penalty upon completion of the course/programme from the deposit.

If a student has been given a verbal or written warning we have the right to deduct a 50% financial penalty upon completion of the course/programme from the deposit.

If the student has been expelled from the Course we have the right to withhold the deposit.
